Our Central Yet Secluded Location
Browning Bros is situated on an organic 5th generation family farm in the village of Great Tey; just 6 miles from Colchester in Essex. Nestled in the picturesque Colne Valley in North Essex, our secluded and idyllic site is easily reachable from London, Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, and other UK cities, providing the perfect base for a truly unforgettable corporate retreat.

With acres upon acres of ancient woodland and even a beautiful lake on site, you can experience a spiritual connection to each other, the land, the seasons, and Mother Nature on your wonderful weekend away from the office. Take it Easy at Teybrook Orchard
Our woodland orchard venue offers the perfect location for smaller, more intimate corporate events. With a large 60ft x 30ft marquee and a variety of quirky glamping accommodations available to hire, you can treat your valued staff members to a fun and restful weekend away in the countryside.
Teybrook Orchard boasts 4 Mongolian yurts, 4 bell tents, 1 converted grain silo and 1 luxury shepherd’s hut, sleeping up to 26 in total. All are fully furnished and come with their own power supply. Sleep under the stars and wake up to nature in the most stunning setting. We can also provide additional 5m bell tents to sleep any additional staff members.
Chill Out at Chalkney Water Meadows
Nestled on the edge of a tree-lined lake, Chalkney Water Meadows offers acres of space for larger group activities and team building exercises. With 3 linked festival style giant tipis and plenty of furnished bell tents on site, you can invite your whole team away for a weekend of teambuilding and adventurous activities.
Our fully furnished bell tents can be made up as single or twin occupancy with double bedsteads, or multiple occupancy with single mattresses on the floor (maximum 4 people). We also have 2 luxury cabins, situated just a 2-minute walk away on the edge of a beautiful glistening lake.
